On Wednesday, February 10 at 5 p.m. Republican Representative Christopher Lee resigned his House seat. This came about because it was revealed the congressman solicited a woman on Craigslist listed under Women Seeking Men. Lee in a statement said "I regret the harm that my actions have caused my family, my staff and my constituents. I deeply and sincerely apologize to them all. I have made profound mistakes and I promise to work as hard as I can to seek their forgiveness." Lee is married with a son. Pictures of him bare chested that he sent to the women he contacted began to surface all over the internet. In mere days he resigned as an indication of zero tolerance of scandals by House Republicans
